Besta Ltd. was established in 1966 and is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Bachofen Holding Ltd. It conducts development and production in Uster, Switzerland, and distributes its products worldwide through 45 national agencies.

All parts which are subject to pressure are made of aluminium or plastic, which means that no corrosion can take place in the distribution system and high compressed air quality is guaranteed. All components used are silicone-free. The bolt-connected technique (no welding, brazing, and glue) makes it possible to re-use all components when adapting to changed production procedures. Low pressure loss thanks to high surface quality and optimal air-tightness thanks to ultra-modern seal technology make for energy efficiency and correspondingly low operating costs.
